We get used to the birds around us. Many of us try to lure birds into our garden, in the cold season we lure them with seeds close to us.

That is why the owner of the farm near Kecskemét noticed that an alien-looking bird appeared in the area. For days, the couple saw the bird because, however, they did not know what species they were dealing with, so they asked for expert help.

After the ornithologist arrived at the scene, the bird was still waiting for the people for hours, but it just showed up and the specialist could immediately tell that they were dealing with a blue-bellied stork.

It is no coincidence that the bird could not be identified, as the blue-billed woodpecker is a species living in Africa and has never been observed in Europe before. This specimen has not flown with high probability so far either, but it is much more conceivable that one specimen of an ornamental bird holder has been released. The assumption was only further confirmed by the ring seen on the bird's foot.
