Most of the injured, flightless birds found in the summer recover at the Hortobágy Bird Hospital, but there are some healthy specimens that still do not fly. And among the birds wintering at home, there is one who has been staying in his nesting place since 2009.

He was found in Semjénháza in 2009 by a man. He was in very poor condition at the time, but was cured by professionals. Although he is able to live independently, he cannot fly, he is not in a state of flight, so he cannot march with the others. He has no choice but to wait for his mate to come back.

So Lilike, the freshman that stayed at home, is already arranging the nest, but contrary to his name, it is not a hen, but a male freshman. The name was chosen before the gender was revealed, so the name Lilike stuck to it.

The family is fed in the winter by those who found it in 2009.
