It is worth creating a bird-friendly garden for ourselves, as even the morning coffee is tossed up by a chirping bird landing in our garden.

From autumn we focus on feeding, and from spring, as time and nature allow, birds find more and more food. We may forget to feed during this period, but if we want to continue to attract them to our garden, we will put a drinker on them. It’s at least as much a vocation as feeding. They should be provided with fresh water daily.

Placing a drinker can be much more than that, as birds are happy to take a cool bath as well. But if we want to take extra care of the birds visiting our garden, we can delight them with a sand bath in addition to the water. In addition to water, birds also like dust or sand baths. A larger, flat bowl is also suitable for filling with sand. It can be placed either on the ground, or even sand scattered in a sunny place can attract bathers. The sand is also very good and bathed in it because the sand grains help remove unwanted parasites.
