We made many of them sick

After the third wave of the coronavirus epidemic subsided, we were finally able to take off our masks and be said to be free.

Many owners have been infected with Covid-19, but they may not have even thought that they might have infected their pets at the same time.

Experts now say that half of our dogs and up to three-quarters of our cats have caught the coronavirus from humans. This also means that not only have they caught the virus, but their body has been producing antibodies ever since.

The higher number of infected cats suggests that the kittens inside the house may have been closer to their owners, allowing the virus to spread more easily.

We may not have even noticed that our pet had been infected with Covid-19 because they had survived without more serious symptoms.
