Suddenly everyone was affected by the increase in prairie dogs in the Pécs Zoo.

It is not surprising if we write that an animal species living in a zoo in the world or in a country has brought offspring to the world. Then the news is much greater when we say that there were only males in the team.

The Pécs Zoo's existing stock has been expanded with two more weeks ago. As soon as they took their place, they pulled themselves into a safe, underground place. The zoo recently arrived on several prairie dogs that were all male. Compared to this, four new small prairie dogs appeared on the runway in the days.

One of the male specimens was certainly a female, a pregnant female. This is definitely good for the Pécs Zoo, with the new ones just wanted to get the blood refresh.

Although they have been working in the zoo for nearly twenty years now with prairie dogs and their propagation, it has not seemed too successful lately. The new males were expected to break through, with new females coming along. They did not even think that little things could be born before the females arrived.
