For example, goats prefer people with a smiling face. This was found in an experiment. Black-and-white images were hung on a wall of a room at a certain distance. The photos depicted a person's emotional face. The goats allowed into the room were allowed into the room and the animals were not restricted where and when to go.

The subjects of the experiment clearly approached the first images on which the subject was the smile, but the other images seemed not to exist.

The fact that they were approaching only the smiling image was valid until the happy face was on the right. As the smiley image appeared on the wall elsewhere, the goats did not even know what was attributable to the processing of what they saw with one half of their brains, ie the left hemisphere. This experiment also demonstrates that the animals also perceive the human mood, recognize the emotions on the human face and behavior. Even the goat.
