The fox is due to its gentleness in its gene

We can see many sweet videos of tame fox that behave like a dear pet. It can be a very lovable, sweet animal that can be the originally beast. The story of the Little Prince is all about that.

It is not because of a man's babbling that we can tamper with a fox or not. Research has shown that to be tolerant of a fox, a fox should be friendly with him, much more due to genetics. That is, the fox who loves man is different from his wild counterparts in terms of genetics.

Dmitry Beljajav began his own experiment with foxes. The nearly sixty-year project is still on. Silver and red foxes have always been ranked on the basis of which animal is friendly to man. In the experiment, only those foxes who were the friendliest with humans were allowed to breed and so they were propagated. After at least ten generations, they have experienced behavioral change, where fox behavior has become much more dog-like. But it was not just about behaving more like dogs, but also changes on their bodies. The completely normal, upward-facing fox ears began to descend, they began to bark, patches began to appear on their fur, and even their tails became shorter.

Thousands of genes contribute to changes in behavior and, of course, environmental factors also influence it. It seems that the gene that is responsible for gentleness has also been found.
