How did you get here?

Recently, we have repeatedly reported birds that have appeared in Hungary and that are not, or only very rarely, seen in Hungary. This is also the case elsewhere.

Judging by the name of the sea eagle, it is also a bird of the seas and oceans. The Steller eagle is a large bird of prey native to eastern Asia and Russia. Nevertheless, in one of the parks in the eastern part of the United States, experts have noticed a bird that has never been seen before. Such an extraordinary winged predator was seen on the Taunton River in Massachusetts. This means that it has traveled thousands of miles from the bird’s original habitat.

It is true that Steller sea eagles have already been observed in Canada and Alaska. Experts believe the big storms could have distracted the birds. This bird of prey is one of the largest in the world and probably these specimens are no longer coming home. However, their luck is that where they were seen, the climate is similar to the original habitat so they can survive.
