In any case, it is necessary to provide fresh water so that you have the opportunity to drink at any time. What's more, it's worth placing a water bowl outside in several places in the apartment, in the case of cats that go outside. However, in very hot weather, it is also worth paying attention that the water does not heat up. In other words, always try to make cold water available for your cat. You can even try placing some ice cubes in the bowl. With their continuous melting, the water heats up more slowly and this may make it attractive to the cat.

You can try using a drip drinker instead of a bowl, you might like it better. Moreover, there is also a water dispensing device.

Replenishment of fluids also helps if you offer your pet wet food from the start, because thanks to the high water content, fluid also enters the body.

Provide a cool place where he can drift off to sleep.

Monitor your pet's condition and if you still notice that he is drinking too little and his condition and behavior have changed, take him to the vet as soon as possible.
