FISH CONSUMPTION IN WINTER - PHYSICAL HEALTH IS A HOT BED FOR MENTAL WELL-BEING

The colder, overcast months are approaching, when exercise and healthy eating are a bit in the background, our fall motivation is being replaced by winter laziness.

We already know the basics - eat lots of vegetables, fruits, take vitamin C - but since we can supplement our diet, what else can we do to support our body’s resilience?

When it comes to meals, the key lies in a varied diet, as we tend to choose well-proven, faster foods, even for convenience, which may not pay off in the long run. In addition to vegetables and meat, fish also play an important role in supporting our health. Their vitamin-rich and mineral-rich nutritional value is undeniably beneficial, as well as a delicious and varied part of your daily diet.

Research also shows that diet plays a major role in the development of mental illness, so it is especially important to choose what is on the plate every day. In order to preserve our mental well-being, the greatest protective role is played by certain nutrients and minerals, vitamins and Omega-3 fatty acids, so the importance and regular consumption of fish and fish products also increases.

If you are not friends with the shape of mirelite fish, it is worth trying the pâtés, canned fish, which can be easily incorporated into our diet even in winter, thanks to their simple and time-friendly shape.
