So far, the problem has been that there are few...

A few years ago, we were no longer so surprised by news that a wolf or a bear had appeared in our country.

Bears are visiting us more and more often. It is from the mountains of neighboring countries that they spend some time with us, but they can even rest longer with us. Of course, this can also cause more alarm. The same may be true for wolves.

However, specimens of some species may have proliferated so much in recent times that their increased number is a problem. This also shows how well some species have been reintroduced to places where they once had a natural presence. At the same time, this success can already be considered a problem if it was too successful. The balance of the given area is upset.

The story of the gray wolf is an example of this. This predator was once present all over Europe, then their numbers gradually began to decrease, and finally they were drastically reduced. However, thanks to resettlement between 1965 and 2016, it was realized by 1,800 percent. In some areas, for example, they have already received permission to reduce the herd of wolves, because they harm the herd of farm animals.
