Help for homeless animals (X)

Most four-legged animals live with caring and loving owners, receiving adequate amounts of food, care and love. However, there are companion animals who have had a less beautiful life, they have moved from the streets and ditches to more protected conditions, and now live in shelters, waiting for adoption - they are taken care of by SPAR Hungary and the National Animal Protection Foundation, during which they organize pet food collections in collaboration with animal protection organizations in INTERSPAR stores.

Even the smallest help is a big help!

Mancs is in trouble! This is the third year that the domestic chain has organized a pet food collection campaign with the professional coordination of the National Animal Protection Foundation in order to draw attention to responsible animal husbandry, the fate of four-legged animals in difficult situations, and the importance of the work of NGOs that care for them. During the initiative , dry food, canned food, dog salami, wet food in aluminum bags, reward snacks, animal equipment and cleaning agents are collected for the care of dogs and cats living in shelters. Even a can of food can be of great help to a pet waiting for an owner.

Donations are also a huge help to the shelters, because they have more financial resources for medical care and facility development. When you go shopping, put a donation in your basket or shopping cart, with which you can take care of a small animal that could even be yours.

You can even combine your weekend shopping with the charitable initiative! On Saturday, May 13 and Sunday, May 14, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., in all INTERSPAR stores across the country , activists from more than thirty animal protection organizations will accept donations near the checkout zones.
