Although we can now count on the fact that the days are getting longer and longer, that is, it is getting longer and longer, we cannot forget that it is January. It is not very cold, but the capriciousness of the weather now promises minuses and even snow.

Many people are happy about this, because winter is only real when it snows, while others fall into melancholy and wait for spring.

Those who classify themselves in the latter category and also have a dog, cat, or any other pet they can handle, should take extra care of the animal now. This extra pampering has a good effect on the pet as well, but perhaps even more so on the owner.

And that's the good news, owners. The antidote to winter melancholy is in your home. Don't be discouraged if you only have fish. Watching the fish in the aquarium is at least as good a stress reliever. The solution is to spend as much time as possible on our animals in addition to the family.
