When we think of an animal species we know, we know its size and color, so when it comes to the flamingo, we know what to expect.
The long-legged bird in the water is not only famous for this, but also because of its color. The animals bouncing in pink are looking for food in their waters with their hooked beak. Walking in shallow water, squeezing their beak into the sludge filters out the small snakes, worms, and insects that make them food.
They live in colonies, and sometimes the whole water is pink, because of their body color. That's why it is surprising when many pink birds appear to be of the same shape but completely different in color.
The video shows that there is a black flamingo. He's a little different, quite different from his peers.
