Karcsi stork goes to the beach

Karcsi, the stork, has been present on Margitsziget and its beach for years. He didn't miss it this year either.

The large area of the Palatinus beach on Margitsziget offers many bathers a place to relax, but a feathered one also caught his eye. Besides, he's been doing it for years.

Karcsi, the stork, is one of the inhabitants of the Margitsziget Zoo, who was rescued at the time. Several of his fellow freshmen live in this place together with him. They are all storks who either cannot fly or can only travel short distances, so their permanent residence is the zoo.

In summer, Karcsi likes to visit the nearby beach. Fortunately, the guests like the presence of the bird, in fact, its presence makes the atmosphere really unique, so the bird is also attractive to many people when they choose this beach. No wonder they are considered the mascot of the beach.
