It’s only January, but we’re already thinking a lot about how good it would be if it was spring.
And we consider storks to be the herald of spring. Towards the end of February, we can rightly expect large travelers with long legs and beaks. Year after year, our storks tend to come home earlier and earlier, but what the freshman in Somogy county has done now is an exaggeration.
Vörs' early-arriving freshman was Kele, who returned to Hungary as the first freshman of the year for 14 years. Now, however, one of Kele’s offspring, Charlie, has taken over that position.
Charlie arrived on January 24th.
