In the early fall, we encouraged everyone to lure the songbirds into their garden and help them with regular feeding.
For many, this is up to a decade of tradition and the birds regularly visit the feeder in the garden for the birds. Routine bird feeders are well aware that this requires a daily task, but they may have experienced a frightening thing this year. The birds do not come despite the stuffed feeder. This phenomenon has been noticed by several bird lovers and experts have been approached on this matter.
The answer lies in climate change. For years, it has been experienced that winter is mild, and it arrives later, which the birds insist on arriving later and in smaller numbers.
It is becoming more and more characteristic of winters that they are mild, snow-free, which makes it easier for birds to find food, so they are not dependent on human help. And some birds leave the country during this very period - November and December - and migrate to another place.
