Among the birds, the species native to Hungary offer a common sight, but sometimes strangers or very rarely striking ones appear in this area.

The name of the chicory also sounds foreign, even just its sight. Not coincidentally, as his original homeland was North Africa. Since then, they have expanded further and further north, thanks to which he can appear as a guest at the highest points of our country. The chick is a migratory bird species that arrives in the spring and leaves our country in the fall.

The characteristic feature of the sparrow-sized bird is that the heads of the males are lemon-yellow in color, with the underside of their feathers striped.

Among the chicks, however, a specimen has now emerged that is really very rare, for it is the albino. Among the finches that already breed in Northern Hungary, the less colorful chick was observed in the Bükk National Park.
