Fine to you, poison to your kitten

The giggling look and the very hungry manifestation should not be deceived. Not a single well-fed companion misses the opportunities on offer, so they almost look out of our mouths for bites. But this habit is worth treating, because not all food is good for our animals.

What is forbidden to offer our velvety partner:

Caffeinated products: what goes into people’s breakfasts is toxic to the cat. In addition to spitting up, it can cause vomiting, diarrhea, and tremors. Caffeine is poison to the cat and its body reacts like that.

Potatoes and vegetables of that family: peppers, tomatoes, eggplants. These vegetables are also poisonous to our kittens, in an immature form anyway, so let’s not give it raw in any way. If we cook it ripe, it won’t be a problem for them.

Chocolate: we humans are there for it, but don’t be seduced by a pair of begging eyes and don’t give chocolate to our kitten. Because it is also poisonous to cats, it can produce symptoms of poisoning: diarrhea, vomiting, seizures, fever, but it can even lead to coma or death.

Onions: the onion, which is the basis of Hungarian cuisine, gives our food a taste and aroma, but in the case of cats, it is a poisonous plant that causes anemia.
