Our animals must also be prepared for the cold weather. We've already spoken about the dogs, and now we have some thoughts for the kitty owners.
The real winter has come. This means that we have to dress more casually, but as the owner of a responsible cat, we offer our cats with quality, energy, vitamins and minerals. By this time, cats are denser and thicker, for greater protection. It may seem that our kitty took a few pounds to himself, but it is deceptive. They are in need of a nutritious, energy-rich meal, because a big and furious kitten can live in the big fur coat.
During the winter season, the food intake of the kittens should be increased. It can be reduced in summer, but not in the winter with our pets.
In some cases, it may also be necessary to administer a nutritional supplement, but this should only be done if the veterinarian recommends.
In addition to food, attention should be paid to sufficient water. You should be more attentive to kittens kept outdoors. In addition to dry food, liquid replacement is essential, but in minus degrees the water can freeze quickly, so it needs to be replaced several times a day.
Cats living in the apartment are also in the winter, but we also have to provide a place protected from wind and moisture for kittens living outside, where you can go out in the cold.
Many allow their cats and dogs to enter the boiler room, garage, although they originally live in the garden. If we already let the kitty into a protected place, where you can pull yourself, but you can only get out of it if we release it, then put a cat litter to do your job.
Handle the antifreeze carefully. Immediately after use, close it to prevent accidental neglect.
