Spain also suffers from the coronavirus. But the situation is not only difficult for humans, but also for animals.

In the Spanish capital, there are restrictions similar to those in Hungary due to the coronavirus epidemic. Although zoos are not open to the public, even the animals that live there are not short of anything. Just like pets that have lived in their safe home with their owners so far.

Of much greater concern, however, are the animals who live their daily lives on the streets, homeless. And public parks provided food for quite a few of these animals until they were shut down. However, the closure also means that animals that were able to get some food this way are not possible now, so they will starve.

To avoid this, the city council of Madrid allowed volunteers to temporarily enter the area of large public parks three times a week and provide food for the cats living there.
