Just a few days old, clinging to his mother, my little monkey, the newest resident of the Gyöngyös Zoo, is watching the outside world.

The baboon with a baby collar was already expecting, as it was obvious that her mother was pregnant. However, they did not know when the baby would arrive.

One night she gave birth to the newest resident of the zoo, the female baboon. The next day, not only the baboon companions could see the baby, but also the caregivers. The rest of the team welcomed the new member, and the caregivers welcomed the newcomer.

As the mother walks out with the puppy a few days old, visitors can also see what the baboon looks like in just a few days.

Baboon mother receives protein-rich nutrition so she can feed her baby properly.
