Bird-friendly automotive industry

They didn’t try to turn the latest brands and models into bird suites, yet car companies can do a lot for birds.

The Mercedes Benz office in Kecskemét did this. From this, one might think that someone else could succeed if you pay energy and attention to your environment.

Mercedes has proven that it cares not only about car manufacturing, but also about the environment. Since its inception, the Kecskemét company has been working to maintain the biodiversity of the area, and the necessary measures are being taken.

It is no wonder that Mercedes won the Bird-Friendly Workplace title of the Hungarian Ornithological and Nature Conservation Association.

On the occasion of the World Day of Birds and Trees, the Mercedes-Benz factory in Kecskemét intends to use the “Keep it green” program to present the living world of the car factory.

The area around the factories is identified by engaging in dirty activities that are only harmful to nature, but Mercedes-Benz proves that this is not necessarily the case.

You can live so colorful flora and fauna in the factory area because they lack natural predators and there is no chemical weeding. And in recent years, nearly 2,500 trees have been planted around the factory to attract even more animals.
