However, in the case of apes, especially the smaller macaques, we tend to forget that these good-natured animals, who approach humans bravely, are wild animals. The man was pretty much everywhere. It is a mistake for animals to enter human territory. In fact, it is the other way around, so some wild animals are forced to find food in a different way. In many cases, this takes place near people. Not only because their own habitat is getting smaller and smaller in the wild, but they are also attracted by the easier way to get food.
Things have gone bad in a Japanese town. A group of dozens of macaques ventured quite far. Among them, one of the male leaders led his team to systematically exploit people in the area of the local high school. Passers-by were attacked, and this was sometimes accompanied by bites and scratches. The situation got so bad that the authorities got bored and shot one of the gang leaders with an anesthetic and then put him to sleep permanently.
