The coronavirus epidemic meant nothing to love and instincts. Closing here or there, zoo life worked the same way it did in nature.
Nature has almost begun to recapture man-made areas. During quarantine, animals appeared that are not characterized by being so close to humans. The tranquil environment was enticing to the beasts.
There was also a great deal of tranquility in the zoos. Some of the animals accustomed to the hustle and bustle were disturbed by the excessive silence, while other animal species enjoyed the forced break and left their instincts to function. As a result, the young sea lion female at the Schönbrunn Zoo gave birth to its first offspring in early July. The male little seal is still unnamed, but is already in full swing enjoying the zoo. The seal baby, which is also visible to the general public, will now be a sweet, fragile trifle, but as an adult, it will be able to weigh more than 400 pounds.
