The Metropolitan Zoo and Botanical Garden has grown with six new residents for eight weeks, so visitors can now see them as well.

Steppe cats were born. This species is even called manul. The puppies are the fruit of the love of eight-year-old Peas and four-year-old Bohus. It has been so long since visitors can admire them.

Until now, the caregivers hadn't been able to see the little ones anyway, because they had given the family complete peace of mind. As the puppies grew and were released into the catwalk, they took part in the first test: they were given a chip, a worm driver.

The feline-like manul is really not much bigger than the domestic cat, but still different due to the rich coat of his figure, which makes his gaze look more grumpy.

The capital’s zoo has been dealing with these animals since 2013 in order to reproduce as well. So the mission is a success.
