As Christmas draws nearer, donations and offerings to those in need come to life. Holidays make people more gifted.
However, this is only true if they are aware that it is being used for a noble purpose, and that people or families in need are getting the object or financial help.
Perhaps it is the festive mood that will re-energize the helpful, dog-friendly ones. Already in 2015, the so-called Loyalty is Royalty campaign, launched with the help of Dorko, a group of Hungarian celebrities and athletes, was launched.
Guide dogs can make the lives of the blind and partially sighted more lively and comfortable. However, in order for a guide dog to become a loyalty companion, people in need will have to wait a long time because the queue is very long and specially trained dogs are fewer. Not only is it costly to train them, but it also takes time to become a skilled blind guide.
For years, Dorko, athletes, and artists have been helping smoothly access sighted four-legged companions.
