Our dogs are real social creatures, so they like to be around us. Moreover, they like to feel some kind of connection.
It is a physical connection. In other words, our pets try to draw attention to themselves quietly and carefully by sitting next to us, or maybe on top of us. In this case, the person automatically caresses the egg. In order for the effect hunting to work even more effectively, our dogs usually lie down in front of us with this momentum, even with their stomachs up.
Since they are showing us their bellies, we humans interpret this to mean that they want a belly scratch. And yes, they really want us to pet them, but they want more than that. The fact that a dog is lying on his back makes him more vulnerable. In other words, it trusts humans (it may surrender if an unknown animal throws itself on its stomach in front of us). Lying on the stomach is therefore a sign of trust and assumes a deeper relationship between man and dog.
So, if your dog regularly cuts himself on the back, that's all you've got.
