The population of several countries can experience a difficult period. The coronavirus epidemic requires illnesses and deaths, so the emphasis is on prevention.

Traveling in and out of the country has been restricted around the world. In Hungary, too, distance education and various rules have been ordered in order to prevent the spread of the virus, which is a real threat to the elderly. Those who came home from abroad are automatically quarantined for two weeks, others volunteered for quarantine. Some have been hospitalized for the virus.

However, because most households have some kind of pet, the time spent in the hospital, or quarantine, is difficult not only for the person but also for the pet.

Most of us are not prepared to think two weeks in advance about our family or our pets.

We already know that neither man is at risk for the animal with the coronavirus, and vice versa. Quarantine can wait for anyone with a suspected coronavirus. If this happens, it will probably happen so quickly that there is no time to prepare for it. Animal protectors motivate farmers to prepare a booklet of the animal containing vaccinations and health examinations, and to provide the animal with food for at least two weeks. Anyone who has a family and / or a relative or friend can ask someone to get what they need, but if nothing else, local animal protectors, the police can also help take care of the animals.

The coronavirus alarm can occur in anyone’s life, even unprepared. If someone learns that someone in your area needs immediate hospital care, they should leave their pet alone, contact your local government or even the police.
