Whether from the garden or during a walk, our dog can collect ticks. If we didn’t think about prevention, the tick will be taken out properly.
It is definitely worth taking out an unpleasant blood sucker that can spread even an infection, because they can spread dangerous diseases.
It’s not overwhelmed to take our pet to the vet if we find a tick in it, but most farmers do it at home, on their own. All you need is a special tick-removing tweezers, but even an eyebrow tweezer is enough. Maybe we're even more adept at that.
Even before embarking on removal, wear rubber gloves to protect your own health. The tweezers are placed directly on the tick’s body, where it comes in contact with the dog’s skin. Don't be careful, because we're just hurting. This is because if you don’t take it out first because you hold the blood sucker too carefully, you could even gag the infected blood back into the dog. Firmly, pull the tick up. Once this is present, both the skin surface and the forceps need to be disinfected.
