Smart pet friendly city

The metropolitan way of life does not deter us from keeping animals either. As a result, a lot of dogs, cats and other animals live with us in one household.

If we look at our animals as real family members, we treat them accordingly. Walking is a necessity for dogs kept indoors, but in the Italian city they will have much more than that for pets living in the apartment.

In the city of Lucca, they are trying to implement a unique project that will give the city administration the title of Europe's first animal-friendly smart city. The design of the castle landscape also included the creation of parks and routes for dog walks, and locals will also have the opportunity to travel freely on public transport with their dogs and even take their pets to work. Dogs can also go to school and care facilities for the elderly in a therapeutic manner.
