There are no species in the waters of our country that would be dangerous for humans, i.e. due to our size we cannot be considered as prey.

The catfish is a predatory species, but it is harmless to us. Not so for our little pets. Although it is not at all typical for a dog or a cat to be the chosen victim, it can still happen sometimes.

Gaius the dog walked like this. One of the large catfish of the Ráckevei Duna caught sight of the dog that was there. However, the dog intended for lunch fought so fiercely for its life that it stuck out one of its legs, tearing through the hunter's gills while hobbled. This caused the catfish and the dog to drown.

And now they have found their strange remains. The dog in the fish. Because the dog had a chip, they were able to identify Gaius as the victim. It has already disappeared in 2021. His owner waited for him at home and looked for him, but after a while he gave up hope of finding him.

Gaius's life was never easy. Before he came to his owner, he spent his uncertain days as a stray animal.
