In the summer sunshine, protect yourself from sunburn, heat stroke and sunburn. We need to do the same with our pets.
Sunscreen, shade, plenty of fluids, staying in a cool room and the right clothes can help us a lot, but for our dog sunscreen can only be used on the nose and ears, and we don’t give clothes to dogs in summer.
However, we would think that in the case of large-haired puppies, sunshine is not a problem either, as long fur protects them from sunburn. Even in a shady place, a dog’s skin can burn, as can a human, so it’s worth staying cool during a big heatwave. As incredible as it may be, sunburn can occur in long-haired dogs, which is painful.
