This was discovered by installing bats with tiny tools that counted the stays, the route, and even the communication of bats. In the experiment, individuals of various bat species were equipped with such a device, and for several days they investigated where they were going, how to hunt.

Bats feeding on insects must be hunted to the litter, so not at a predetermined location. Bats that hunt insects, when they find the food, are attracted to their breeders by ringing. Such bats move together, because there is a greater chance of everyone getting food. This fruitless bats have no qualities because they have no interest in mixing the fruit with another. They do not call their companions, do not hunt together the fruits, nor consume the food together.
