They were treated as subjects, almost as objects. Their fate became questionable again

As usual, and generally, we reach out to cosmetic products. We are not thinking about the fact that the launch of the product was preceded by tests to get the best out of it.

Most of the tests meant that animals were used to make cosmetics. They also use animals for medicine. They are experimenting with a number of human medications and examining their effects.

There is an institution in Gänserndorf, a city close to Vienna, where chimpanzees and apes live on experiments.

The former pharmaceutical company, Immuno, has conducted laboratory experiments on dozens of animals. Wild animals were caught in Africa in the 1970s and 1980s. Following the American acquisition of the drug, animal experiments were also discontinued and the drug factory was transformed into a shelter for animals that had once suffered.

Human aphids have also been used to get to know HIV, AIDS and HPV viruses, which means that living individuals are now infected with different diseases. Of course, the experiments also have a health and mental effect on the animals, so in addition to infectious diseases, most of them have musculoskeletal problems and suffer from depression.

Refuge maintenance and operation until 2019, but then we do not know what will be the fate of the former experimental animals.
